20 miles west of Indianapolis Indiana | I will Completely admit, a 4th pass is very very unlikely to pay, and a 3rd is very questionable. With early tar and late southern, 2 passes is paying well. I have 2 friends trying the 3 pass and the 3rd is paying 2X the cost of material and app.
I’ll for $5 an acre of material I’m not going to be flooding the market with $3 corn.
But I understand your response and reasoning.
I’m doing less and less with local retailers and more with private agronomist or friends/peer networks for advisory that do not sell you anything in the process and then buying the product as cheaply as possible elsewhere, preferably generic. That’s where the difference is in what you and I describe IMO. |
