Heifers from the 2025 calf crop will produce most of their calves during the low portion of the ten year cattle cycle.  While various things can and do adjust this 10 yr cycle to make it more like 12-14 it has held true in the past multiple time since the theory was chlorinated in like the 70 or early 80.  Right now can't remember the Processor that promoted it. 

Fill in with short term older cows.  Problem is everyone else is doing the same and broken mouth are selling stupid already. 2600 to 3750 and not 1600# cows that are worth 2500 to kill. Anything over about $1800 is reward to the ability to get one, two maybe three more calves out of her.
