Middle Tennessee | Well I cant find young help that is not scared of cattle coming at them. The kid that use to help me has a great ag job, kids and 100 cows of his own. He helps to get up and sort but on load out day I am solo. The problem is that 85% of the time they will cooperate but the other 15% they don't. I can remember when I would take the calf on that was messing up my loading . However, a few years back with a punctured lung 8 broken ribs, broken collar bone , my out look changed on dealing with cattle . Saturday reminded me they need to change more. I am hauling 2 loads this weekend 6 wts that are very gentle . Cut or not we will see.
