| Ok, first you don’t understand employment LAWS. They were “legal” according to the paperwork they provided at that given time. You cannot question that. Educate yourself.
Second, they were hired by the President of the cotton gin. There were two locations and I managed one. But, they did the hiring and firing of employees. Not sure what I have to do with that but continue on with your diatribe.
Third, I left on my own accord since it was not conducive to my family with two small babies. There was no firing and they asked me to stay. One of my daughters was born on October 14. We were tuning 24/7 and I had plans setup to run to the hospital for her birth and then head back to work. It just so happened my wife about died that birth and had to have emergency surgery so I was gone from the gin for 4 days rather than maybe 12 hours. I lived and breathed the gin so there was no issue there. I am still friends with those people.
Fourth, I don’t worship the President. Any President. I’ve called him out, acknowledged his many shortcomings, and also highlighted those that want to hold him to a standard they won’t hold others to. Some don’t like that. You just don’t like me so you call that arrogant and condescending. I don’t like the President personally but do appreciate many of his policies. I don’t care for the last President but can appreciate some of his policies. I didn’t hate him like some of you hate this President. I’m not sure you could acknowledge any single good thing he has done. That I will highlight and you call it arrogant and condescending.
If you didn’t hate me you would have let me buy you a meal but you wouldn’t lower yourself to that.
Lastly, I didn’t overlook the workers I had. If you can’t tell, I called it out. That isn’t overlooking it. I had no legal recourse that you can’t even grasp and also acknowledged I had no power to do such. This was 20 years ago. Different time and place which does not justify it. What I do is call out the hypocrisy of those that knowingly hire those under the table or without “proper” paperwork and they choose to look the other way. I would have liked to have done something about it but I DID NOT HOLD THAT POWER.
Lastly, you don’t care for me and that’s clear. With that, I will dismiss you and move on since you are a one trick pony it seems. Enjoy your life. If you can
