I really don't care what others do, I've ran both red and green heads. If comparing a factory stock 800/900/1000 red head vs a factory stock 40/90 series, I'd take the red head every day of the week.
Put a full Calmer kit on a late 90 series JD head and it is transformed into one of the best corn heads ever built.
