This concept has been brought up at WEF forums. A speaker was discussing what to do with a world filled with people that had no purpose anymore. The suggestion was basically video games and other mindless activities to keep people who aren’t able to find purpose in life busy. It sounded like from their perspective it isn’t even in question that humans will be replaced and most of them no longer necessary. The question that needed to be answered is what to do to keep people pacified. That appears to be the reason that reducing the world’s population stems from also. These huge number of people simply won’t be needed in the future.

From a logical standpoint those concepts actually make sense. From a philosophical standpoint it raises the question of how the people that run the world actually view the common man. Despite the hype of DEI and all of the other feel good messaging the reality is that the common man is a means to an end for them and we are all disposable, replaceable, and potentially useless (that is actually a word that was used by a speaker) when better opportunities present themselves.

The common man is no more than useful livestock to them and many of us will soon be useless livestock to them on the path they want to take the world. The vast majority of us will choose to continue to argue about all of the various messaging they promote to keep us distracted and fighting amongst ourselves, all while being oblivious to our final destination and even arguing about that also.

If a person views these distractions through the lens of being not much more than livestock to those running the world many of the seemingly outlandish and far fetched concepts being promoted do serve a purpose in their vision of the future of the world.

This is something I’ve thought about a lot. The technology everyone one seems to embrace and cant live without out is making your job easier, but is also slowly taking your job away.
