| What ever I wouldn’t have traded my 643 or 893 head for any of those. I never ever fixed on those heads except for deck plates and chains while my neighbors were always putting bearings in the front of their snap rollers and putting new row chains on more regularly than I ever did. The IH heads did crush the stalks better, but we chopped stalks anyway and so did the neighbors.
Edit to add. Plus the idler sprockets that ran with the gathering chains on the IH wore out faster than JD’s
