s.e.mn. | we had a 5425 Deere that spent lots and lots of time at the Deere shop , turbo, 3 steering valves, antifreeze leaks, and the last straw was it dumped the oil into the antifreeze , it plugged up every hose , radiator and heater core , they found it has a porous cover on the eng oil cooler , cleaned it up the best they could but hoses started to turn to moosh it had 400 hrs on it before it was out of warranty we traded it for a new 5085m , we wanted out but nobody no other color would give anything for it
the 5085m came in and when I picked it up I was treated poorly by the owner , I made it two blocks and the thing missed and smoked and the hydraulics whined so bad that I turned around and returned it , grabbed my old one and left , after 5 weeks the owner finally came out , we had the come to reality talk , he said it was perfect and he wanted us happy , he delivered it and it was pretty decent , not perfect but real close , fine we took it , it has been going pretty good until we were plowing snow and hit some soft ground and the bucket folded like a box collapsing , musta been my fault , went to get a new bucket that same dealer said none around buy a aftermarket , called neighboring dealer and 2 hours later had one ready for me to pick up 2 hours away , our fault we payed,
now it started to have no hydraulics or move when it sat for 30 minutes , called the original dealer said bring it up, the got it in and a seal had blowed in the trans and let the charge pump starve and self destruct , alum shavings everywhere, called Deere > no seal had to come from Europe , hydraulic pump > none to be had ANYWHERE , one other person in line for first available , sounds like complete cab off traany apart job to fix, asked service mngr if they had anything for us to use , he said ," what do y ou need a loader for anyway" , talked to owner , said well maybe I could use a skidsteer , I asked could you bring it out , he said it has two speed hyrdo just drive it (about 3 miles) I said if thats the best he could do keep it.
no I got a new tractor ( September 09) with 165 +/- hours on it , not sure when it will be fixed , WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
OPTION 1. he has a new 5085m on hand , sounds not to interested in trading
2.he has 6430 on hand but no loader till mid April , not sure if he'd trade
3. trade with another dealer and let them fix it?
4.put a loader on the ih1066 and wait it out
5. get a lawyer ?
any suggestions would be great , thanks matt | |
