| Over the years we have had charcoal & gas grills. IMO the gas grills leave the food tasting like it was cooked in an oven or on a stove top so I prefer the charcoal grills. I personally like the Wber charcoal grills. My wife really likes the one we have now. It uses gas to start the charcoal & once the charcoal is going you shut the gas off & cook with just the charcoal. The gas lights tthe charcoal quicker than using lighter fluid plus you don't get that "oily" taste that you get using lighter fluid.
Takes about 3 minutes to light the charcoal. They recomend letting the charcoal burn awhile longer after shutting the gas off but we usually put the food on as soon as the gas is turned off. | |
