Central MN | I would think you could probably find a renter that doesnt have a 90,000 dollar truck, but I'm guessing he ain't gonna pay as high as the big dairy money that you really want.
That guy with the nice equipment vehicles etc. is probably operating on smaller margin per acre than the litle guy.
id imagine and its too late for you to try now but the amount of whining goes up and down with the price of rent. its not wrong of you to want the best return for yourself, but i aint sure its the renters fault either to say you're ground ain't worth it.
I have an opposite problem, landlord everytime i see him says how great and perfect everything looks and how we must be making all this money growing hay corn beans rye etc. (42 acres on 5 fields) But between his soil type and his beloved deer herd it just doesn't work. I haven't told him but when the 5 yr lease is up we won't renew. I haven't whined to him and i won't, but when the time comes he might be surprised and probably will take it as "whining" when i tell him its not worth it. | |
