west central Iowa | We use a 2800 on Brome grass windrows. We mow endrows and waterways mostly. 2800 does a nice job of raking the corners! It leaves a nice fluffy windrow that air gets into nicely. Guy that bales, said he would much rather bale behind the 2800, than a big wheel rake. The more I run it, the more I like the Hyd width on the windrow. There is a kit available that will let only one side go out. Sometimes that is handy. I have watched a couple nice rakes sell on internet and thought they would have been a good buy. | |
