SW WI | My part of WI….good yield, no record, if, it got fungicide. With my topography not every acre may get covered. 70 bu yield hit on non fungicide corn. Think odd shaped fields that just get squared off.
The ups and downs of the growing season….we had way too much rain early. I was thinking no record, here. Then it moderated and as USDA printed their pie in the sky numbers, I thought to myself “ don’t be so negative, killing your own crop, just because you haven’t had perfect weather all year long…it’ll never be perfect weather”.
But it is kinda what my early season thoughts were. I don’t like to much early rain. | |
