NE IL | Have you done any true replicated comparisons of 1 pass vs 2? I’d start there before adding any more.
ETA I feel eastern IL/western IN are in for a rude awakening (me included) with a more normal spring. It’s been dry from March-July last 3 years with time late summer rains. When you have no sub 100 bushel corn in the wet spots it makes much easier to have a great average. I think the great corn yields are much less about genetics and practices and all about weather.
