Middle Tennessee | I like to use cut gates when hauling cows ( specially big 1200-1300 pounds cows ) to keep them from moving all over on the trailer. They can get a truck and trailer lunging back and forth going down the highway. I also think I depends how long of a trailer. I think on a 24 foot trailer person should at least use one cut gates when hauling calves. But I do understand a wild one or two or several high headed calves can make it hairy trying to get a cut gate shut. I do understand not wanting to get hurt ( I am 66 years old ). | |
