In good corn my combine doesn’t even make a full pass down the field and it’s full. Absolutely need a grain cart in corn.

You shouldn’t need 4 trucks with triple digit corn when the elevator is 4 miles away unless they are extremely slow.

We run 3 semis and can comfortably run at 3k bu/hr out of the field with 1 truck driver.

Most guys that have much corn experience have the back end flow matched to the combine pretty well.

The elevator isn't slow, the line and traffic around the elevator is. Once you get to the pits, you're dumping with both traps full open, but when you have 30 something trucks in line going in or out speed goes out the window.

So, you've never went to an auction and went "huh, that bigger newer combine that is in nicer shape than the one I was going to bid on is going for basically nothing, why don't I bid on that instead?"

I guess I already run a class 9 combine and have the back end figured out to my liking. Wasn’t overly hard or expensive.
