I 2nd the Miele, husband talked me into it. I was not wanting a bagged unit, all I can say is "wow". I did get the higher end one (Pet one), It is built like a tank. I'm tall and the wand is height adjustable so you do not feel like you are bending over to vacuum. I liked it so much, we bought our daughter one for Christmas.
