What would a nuclear attack even look like? Any nuke runs the risk of igniting Armageddon. Putin is a vicious monster, he's not stupid and even he doesn't want to spend his last days hiding in cave eating canned sardines. So he gives the world 2 days notice that he is going to nuke kiev and then actually does it. Even China would turn against him. We would be sinking every ship on the open sea carrying Ru cargo. Every pipeline, power line, train, and bridge entering and leaving Ru would suddenly be suffering from domestic terrorism. Ru can't conquer Uk even when the rest of the world is giving them a wide berth to get it done. They know that their goose is cooked if the free world actually gets out of bed to do something.
I listen to a fun geopolitical podcast and those guys have been talking about how Ru had their chance and proved that they couldn't get it done so they are going to have to find a way to declare victory and go home. According to those guys, Poland is foaming at the mouth to settle some scores and even the Polish army could walk into Moscow if they had a reason to go. | |
