Thanks for the information! These are for horse feed. They are pretty picky on having them weed free. Italian ryegrass is the name of the weed I’m after. I have tried the stale seedbed method years ago and it worked good but I had a late flush in January that peaked through the canopy at harvest. I plant around 3bu/acre. Wonder if 4 would add any benefit.
