 | What I learned long ago. 
 Big averages don’t come from one field doing 300 and 50 miles away another field doing 0.
 
 The easiest way to build a bigger average is to remove the bottom.  We have don’t that this year. The Iowa-Minnesota border is not showing the train wrecks it did in 24.
 
 When you hire a crop scout and they grid sample—why?  They are trying to help you fix poor spots in a field— same thing.
 
 Don’t get bound up by your yields.  They are still significantly above the projected average.  Where it isn’t, doesn’t matter much.
