I drove around the local JD shop yesterday, GM and Chevy must sell those mechanics new 2/3 tons cheap enough that they can resell them for a profit.
Why does a new “starter” house cost $350,000 to build in NC Iowa today? The cost of a new roof after a hail storm is just high enough that you have a $5,000 deductible when new?
None of that and a whole lot more have anything to do with tariffs, yet they are close to the largest costs on what you are talking about. | |
