Thanks Russ, that reminded me of another old friend since passed on.
He said before REA came through they had some sort of mini windmill on top of the house wired into 1 lightbulb in the kitchen, said if their was a breeze the light bulb was on, if not the lanterns where out.
He never acted like he missed the old days much.... ;)
