Subject: Planting oats into ryegrass infested field

Georgia
I have 25 acres I want to plant into oats for grain this fall. The field hasn’t had any small grains in over 10 years. Corn bean cotton rotation. Always lots of ryegrass when I burndown in the spring. Any tips for control In oats? Plant thicker? Disk then sit for 2 weeks to let ryegrass emerge and then hit it with gly after planting? Heard some guys use prowl h20 at spiking? I know wheat would be the better option to try to control the ryegrass but will be getting paid 10$/bushel for these oats. Wheat here around 5.50$/at the moment. I know ryegrass is a big yield robber. Could always cut for hay in the case of disaster
