Closest Gleaner dealer is an hour and a half for me. Deere is less than 30 min with 3 dealers in that circle. So, sorry Ethan, what works for you won't work for me. Just keep beating that mad at the world drum and see how that works long term. And to be clear, Deere makes as much junk as the next color. The fact that your neighbor had trouble with his MOCO, tells me that he hasn't figured out how to twist his shop foremans arm enough. My shop foreman answers when I call his cell, have a tech coming in the morning to fix a combine. The shop foremans figure out real quick who is a prick and who will work with them. It's all about the team you surround yourself with, my Deere shop foreman and techs know I can be flexible if needed and will have people to help techs when they show up, it pays big when I really need attention. "Privileged and spoiled rotten" get over it, quicker the better
The guy has their cell numbers and is pretty good buddies with one of the seaoned mechanics. Id say he's pretty good at twisting their arm. Plus after spending a bunch the last 2 years on a combine and 2022 6130R should at helped with something. He's not a prick and Deere services everything down to a AC idler pulley. Between corporate Deere not having parts available for a 12 year old mower and its dealer not helping out much on even a loner from one of its stores doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling. Especially when you spend what he has. Great you have 3 dealers within 30 minutes, sounds like a pretty easy gig to me and kinda proves my point of spoiled. Lord knows what would happen if you had to drive a hour and a half for just to get to a green or any dealer as some on this site do. But whatever works, and if saying what no one else will say is being mad at the world then so be it. Too many conversations with people that bring up a lot that I've said some being pretty big operations then I'll carry that weight. |
