Adding more corn will lower your CFM/BU, which will make it less efficient to lower the moisture in the 17% grain. For drying purposes, 1 CFM/bu is minimum.
Use Minnesota’s fan calculation tool to determine if you have enough fan to dry your 17% corn effectively. If not, more corn on top of that will make the situation worse.
