Ethan, seems like you always have a burr under your saddle if a guy doesn't run orange?***

Orange has been gone for 14 years now too, so must be a big burr. I remember how tiny that burr felt to me when we pulled it out in 2010 when we heard the news, and we'd only been that color since 1948, so not sure what the difference is.

Here's my take on combine fuel consumption...do I get asked that question, yep, usually a quick "how are they on fuel?" and my go to response is "the harder you push, the thirstier they get" and we go on. Guys tend to ask more about DEF usage than fuel, because they need to know how much they need to keep on hand.

All combines are thirsty, the difference from one brand to another could be an extra tank or 2 across the harvest. Again, not saying it isn't significant, but if the $3500 in fuel is the difference between surviving for next year, or being able to afford the groceries for your family, then you have other decisions to make before trading combines. $3500 is a lot of money to some, and a small drop in the yearly budget bucket for another...now, you save $3500 across 10 different items in your budget, and it's significant!

Chris
