Sure it does. There would be less beans if the government quit shelling out money to grow them and it cost more to raise them than they are worth for a long enough time. Simple economics. Perfect example are cattle. Record highs set every week and not because the government kept throwing money at ranchers to raise them. I know that is a foreign concept for many. Would other areas raise more of them? Probably, welcome to reality.
Simple economics=market doesn't care what your cost of production is. Simple. |
