Not the fuel cost but the baler cost has skyrocketed over the years. I bought a new baler in late 80’s for around $18,000 and got $7 a bale for baling cornstalks. now a new baler is 5 x that so I should charge $35 a bale, LOL.
Well I guess fuel prices have went up about 5 X also since then also
