Scranton | Last year we put 12 percent corn in a bunch of bins and didn't run the fans because it was dry and coolish. This spring when we started hauling we had multiple bins with a layer on top of bad corn. I think moisture somehow migrated to the top. Never will store again without running the fans, no matter how dry it is. It was only maybe a 6" layer so it blended fine, but sure scared me for a minute. | |
