NC KS | Like others have said, tell Dad to go home and you will fill a truck if everything works out.
Here are the cautions I will put out.
1: Won't do a lot of good to run the combine a few extra hours if that makes you a couple of hours later when it is daylight (get out of bed syndrome).
2: Dust is what stops me most nights. If you can't see the end of the header very good, it is time to go home.
3: Ditches and other harmful objects are many times harder to see and discern after dark. Doesn't matter how powerful your lights are.
4: Have you operated the combine before? Dark is a poor time to get familiar with it. | |
