Higginsville, MO
In 200 bu avg corn .5 to .8 gallons an acre depending on what machine im in.

For all the guys that say knowing your fuel cost doesn't matter shows how poor of business people you are or shows you got more money than sense. Know your costs is key to surviving farming when things get tight like they are. Thats how you tell good operator's from poor. If a 3000 acre farm burnt 1000 gallon less with a machin a $3.36 a gallon, thats $3360 more in a persons pocket a year. Might not be much but thats 2 months living expenses for me.
Then you guys want to bash Allis or Agco for driving distance for some, its called stock up pre season. I dont have to go to the dealer everyday like most green guys to buy one sickle section or to buy a belt. Mother Deeres done an excellent job at controlling you people.
