2 axle is our preferred setup; Doubt anybody make a 3 axle stock that is just 20' long.

Drum brakes work fine. Look into good conduit wiring if you ever pull into a pasture to turn around. Don't expose the wiring under the trailer. Look for the best wiring design at the drum. (As yet, I have not inspected this detail.)

My 1979 Featherlite 7x20' is getting old and keeps popping weld repairs. It gave us excellent service. One multi-brand dealer said our Featherlite was during the brand's good years.
