I think one of the brands that Lowes sell made Consumer Reports best buy list. I like the looks of Sears gas grills and just may get one soon.

The EXPENSIVE Weber gas grills have the burners running from left to right across the grill which I think is dumb.

Most others have burners that run from front to back so that you can have one burner on the end cranked up to sear and cook fast and low burners on the other end for slower cooking or finishing. Same deal when roasting using indirect heat, turn off the middle burner and use the two end ones for heat.

Personally, I still like Weber charcoal kettles the best, but they are a PITA to light and clean up the ashes. To much trouble to grill a couple of burgers.
