Iowa | Depends a lot on what you are looking to do. If you don’t mind working on stuff for the kind of tiling we do I’d have an older self propelled plow long before a trencher. More money up front than a pull type but can run in more conditions and wont put hours or upgrade an expensive 4wd. We have a pull type and have probably put in over 1.5 million feet the last 17 years. If we had to start over I’d spring for the self propelled plow | |
