Love trees...in my yard. Hate them anywhere else...along fencelines, along creeks, in pastures etc. All a nuisance then. Of course a great place for trees was the thousands of acres of DNR ground near our farms...and they cut down EVERY SINGLE large tree a few years ago. Hundreds or thousands of them. So we started planting cottonwoods in our wetlands 5 feet from their fences so the eagles and hawks still have habitat near us.
