i get your point but i said 'mediocre' grain cart operator because really at the end of the day that is what the outrun system is.

Version 1.0 of grain cart automation can handle AB line pathways, but with contour farming, I believe some type of AI will be required to keep grain cart "centered" and prevent combine's unloading auger from hitting the cart on uneven terrain.

Deere's equipment can "automatically sends nudge commands to the tractor to move the grain cart forward and backward," but this system is for AB line pathways.

YMMV for what is needed....if trailer loading happens, some type of RTK GPS will have to be mounted on the trailer, and some type of cameras on tractor and cart's auger will be used. Unknown what Deere's "heat map showing the fill on your in-cab display" can do, but if it can detect the filling height inside a trailer, trailer loading may happen within next five years, perhaps.
