Subject: Lost radiator cap on tractor. How bad?

SC KS
My fairly new to me white 6215.
We serviced the tractor yesterday after switching implements. Who ever to blame left cap off radiator or didn't have it on right. The temp gauge was in the green while pulling a 25 ft disk. I haven't worked ground with it until yesterday. The gauge has always appeared to run on the cool side but pulling a planter and hay rake is all we've done with it so far.

How bad could this be? Or am I panicking unnecessarily? I hadn't had much reason to doubt the gauge other than it seemed to cool but wasn't really being worked either.
