Gleaners use less. I can run 3,000-3,500 bushels per hour of 15% corn through my S78 all day long at around 12 gallons per hour. Comes out to .6 gallons per acre.
Add…I think weight of the machine and rotor design and the Sisu engine are the factors for them to being more fuel efficient.
