Central Nebraska | I've got a NECO dryer that is about 14 years old. It has been very reliable and with the exception of some PLC upgrades it has been very cheap to maintain and operate. Tonight, I got a message that my metering rolls were not turning. I did a quick inspection hoping to find a broken belt or chain but unfortunately the variable speed DC motor is not turning. All the breakers in the control box looked to be ok but it was dark and I didn't have a good flashlight. Will this be as simple as replacing the DC motor? |
