We didnt get snow that early but did at end of month. It left and didnt hit hard until I believe Dec 7. Finished beans Oct 28 and corn Dec 6 of that year. Pushed hard cause we knew snow was coming both times. Corn averaged 23% moisture and didnt start harvest till Nov 15. FWA tractor followed the trucks everywhere that fall with a big log chain. Lost track of all the times we dragged a truck to the road. Greasy all fall.
