Subject: Fake research

Pittsburg, Kansas

With some of the crap AI generated stuff I see on Youtube now this article makes me wonder how bad this will get into the future. This is about fake or poor research publication rather than AI, but something tells me it will eventually dovetail together. Why pay some five dollar an hour foreign person to write your fraudulent paper whan AI can do it cheaper? Of course you still need an insider somewhere along the route to get it published.

It is pretty amazing the information we have at our fingertips today with the internet and search engines. But along with that convenience comes the danger of potential poor or illegit information.

I watch some of the farm and construction videos (at least I start to watch then then abandon) that are just fraught with outright errors. Lots of platitudes of how great something is like it is common knowledge. Repetition, repetition, repetition like if it is repeated enough times it becomes truth. It is just disgusting.

Caveat emptor for sure.
