Fairfield County, Ohio, USA | A splitter will not necessarily work, and could quite possibly make matters even more confusing.
Things I would check:
1) Make sure that the video card drivers are up-to-date. Without knowing what video card you have, I can't provide any further instruction on that.
2) Is there one DP port on each monitor, or two? Make sure you're using the right one, if there are multiple.
3) When you were trying to do this, were you shutting down your computer between attempts, and then starting it back up each time? Some video cards do not play friendly with "hot swapping" (changing cables) while they're powered on.
4) When you were trying this, was the HDMI port vacant? I don't know the configuration (hardware or software) of your computer. It's possible that having one port populated can disable one or both of the other two ports. | |
