SW WI | countries have tariffs to protect their own industry. How many tariffs does a country have before the tariffs hurt their own economy is the question. Countries need trade, not every country can get raw materials from within their own country.
I suspect countries around the world will eventually tariff China. CHina mass produce and dump goods into another country which will put people out of work. This did happen some during Trumps first term. China started dumping goods into Asia flooding markets there.
People out of work do not support the economy.
Hence trade deals which benefit both countries.
Can still have tariffs and trade deals right? Balancing act.
Trumps pay to trade with the USA, will it work? We will see.
The full effects of Trump's Tariffs IMO still have not been felt yet. 6 months 8 more months? | |
