Glenwood, Mn | Illegals are absolutely allowed to collect state assistance. As of now, illegals can receive 100% paid for health insurance via mncare. It’s listed on the dhs website. Starting Jan 1 illegals over 18 years are no longer eligible. Under 18 are still fully insured. Crappy part is the health plan for free is better than what I can provide as an employer for $800/month.
I’m actually tired of hearing about how illegals get no assistance. It’s simply not true in any way or any form in mn.
