| He said “historically” and didn’t want to have religion be part of the discussion. Someone asked for his source of his post below and he then began to discuss using the Bible.
What is obtuse about my question?
“Historically a fetus was seen as property of the father/husband. It wasn’t until as least movement that the mother could feel or even a live birth that a child was consider a life/soul. Way too many miscarriages or children not making it to birth to consider life so early. So no people weren’t put to death for making a woman miscarriag/abort. It’s only with the advancement of modern medicine and understanding of the pregnancy process that the idea of “life” at conception became a thing.
Argue all you want about pro or anti abortion but don’t drag religion into your arguments.” | |
