See that happen occasionally. Corn didn’t mature normally in the stressed areas and now won’t release moisture. Are the cobs kind of soft and rubbery?
I agree with this. Corn that prematurely dies is usually slower to dry down. That's usually from lack of moisture here...........but I've read on here that corn prematurely dying from rust acts similarly. |
