The underlying problem is that you are blaming Christianity itself, not the people who stray from the religion. There is a difference between church and the actual religion. The “church” tends to fall astray from the religion to some extent and begins to allow politics to enter the equation instead of following the religion. If literal interpretation is to be required I will require it also.
You specifically called out Christianity as always leading to authoritarianism. It is not the religion that is the problem. I had asked you for an example of that and you have failed to do so. | |
