Malta, Illinois | My feeling has always been and is especially now in this day of technology that private firms will pick up any slack left if the USDA gets out of the report business. The private firms have been around for a long time putting out their estimates. That isn't going to change. If the USDA isn't putting out reports traders will focus on information from private firms. There will always be someone telling the world what the American farmer has or is raising. | |
