South Central Kansas, Harper County | I purchased a couple of ViewSonic monitors to hook up in tandem on my Lenovo ThinkCentre M75S computer. The computer has 2 DP ports and 1 HDMI, the monitors have 2 HDMI ports and 1 DP port. No matter the configuration, I cannot get the DP ports to work on the monitors. They are a ViewSonic VS2725-2K, and they are refurbished, but come with a 2 yr warranty. Both monitors will work with a HDMI cable hooked up to them, and I should be able to hook them together, and then go to the computer to get my dual monitor setup to work but I cant. The easiest way would have been to use one monitor with HDMI, and one with DP ports going to corresponding ports on the computer. Ive tried all sorts of variations, but nothing has worked so for. Im sure I could buy some sort of splitter for the HDMI and it would work, but I shouldn't have to do this. Any ideas?
