These elevators are digging for every cent they can squeeze. The local cargill starts dinging you for any beans over 13%....and to tip it off they take a percentage of the price, not a flat fee. They stole $0.20 off on my entire load for being 13.7 moisture. My problem with that whole thing is that I can take that sample to 5 different elevators and get 5 different moisture readings....and they want to base their robbery on .1% of moisture....
