This. Low carb/carnivore seems to have made me impervious to cold/flu season.

Do a little looking into viral replication. Basically our cells have to be getting energy from anaerobic glycolysis for a virus to be able to highjack them to reproduce more viruses.

Anaerobic glycolysis = glucose metabolism in a low oxygen environment.

Decrease blood glucose (low carb) and increase blood oxygen (nitric oxide and CoQ10 - eat beef) and the virus can still infect a cell, but it can't reproduce enough to make you sick.

Just a dirt farmer's understanding of the way things work. Your mileage may vary.
